A Message from the Director
Welcome to the Palestine Writing Workshop. The Workshop is all about community–so we offer you a warm and heartfelt invitation to join ours. In a society disempowered by occupation and patriarchal power structures, we must take back our voice and story by developing our voices through all media and using them as tools to construct and present our narrative and thus our reality. To this end, our community is dedicated to developing the voices of creative writers.
Currently we offer Writer in Residence workshops with experienced, published authors who provide 20 hours of training over a 1-2 week period. We also programme a monthly Poetry of Palestine event–a night of poetic performance. Check out our upcoming events and trainings and look forward, with us, to the development of our Reading Room, colloquia readings, trainings, and internships.
